A visionary presence in the commercial real estate market, Warren Diamond heads American Self Storage Management Associates. Starting in the early 1980s, he pursued an expansion-driven strategy that brought safe, secure, and affordable storage options to residents of New York City’s five boroughs. Warren Diamond subsequently expanded his company’s presence to New Jersey and other states, adaptively reusing industrial properties that had gone vacant.
Mr. Diamond has also overseen landmark redevelopment deals that enhanced community profiles. He made use of state grant funds in accomplishing a transformation of the Nanticoke Riverfront in downtown Seaford. Working with municipal leaders in Salisbury, Maryland, he spearheaded a mixed-use Marina District project encompassing restaurants, apartments, and a boathouse.
Mr. Diamond serves as the secretary of the board of the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center. He is also on the board of the Monmouth Medical Foundation (RWJ Barnabas Health) and the Count Basie Center for the Arts. In his free time, he enjoys activities such as tennis, fishing, and travel.
